Canoeing Merit Badge dates to be announced.
REQUIREMENTS can be read here:
Scouts may want to bring or wear the following: rowing gloves (no fingers), hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, chapstick, water, knee pads or towel to kneel on, t-shirt or rash guard, bathing suit, water shoes.

DIRECTIONS and MAP to Mother's Beach
|
Mother's Beach:
- Lincoln Blvd. or Walgrove Ave. south to Washington Blvd.
- Washington Blvd. west into Marina del Rey.
- Left on Via Marina. Pass the Cheesecake Factory on the left.
- Left on Panay Way. Park in the Municipal Lot. You need singles, coins, or credit card. There is no attendant.

Saturday Canoe Practices
(For those Towing Trailers)
Practices run from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at Mother’s Beach, Marina del Rey. The canoes are stored at a county parking lot just south of Bali way and west of the bicycle path. It costs $3 before 9:00 am and $5 after to get into the Mother’s Beach parking lot. The canoe Trailers have 2” tow hook-ups and use a standard 4-wire inline trailer connector. Most auto part stores have adapters to other wiring plugs.
