Celebrate America!
Summer is just getting started and what better way to welcome summer in then to volunteer at the Troop 2 Food Tent at this year’s SMC "Celebrate America!" on Saturday, June 30, 2018. We'll be selling hot dogs and funnel cakes from 5pm - 9pm.
Troop 2 has been asked again to be one of the non-profit food vendors for the Celebrate America Fireworks event at SMC. This is a great opportunity to get the Troop 2 name out into the community. This will be out 13th year participating, and we always see many old friends and alumni families.
We are making Funnel Cakes topped with Strawberries and whipped cream, and we need several volunteers to help setup, cut strawberries, cook, serve and promote and CLEAN UP.
We need both Adults and Scouts for this event. Please email me with your name and contact info with the times you can help.
All scouts need to wear a Troop 2 Summer T-Shirt (Clean) from one of our past camps.
This year we are the first vendor inside the stadium, down in front of the bleachers where the Marching Band sits.

How the day will go:

11am - Noon > to help load supplies at the T2 garage

Noon - 2:30pm > to help set up at SMCC
-
2:30pm - 5pm > to help set up at SMCC and prep strawberries

4:30pm - 6:00pm > final setup and selling funnel cakes

6:00pm - 7:30pm > selling funnel cakes
-
7:30pm - 9:00pm > selling funnel cakes
-
9:00pm - 11:00pm > clean up and bringing equipment back to T2 garage
